Mission & Vision

International Health Connection (IHC) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization that aims to provide health care services to those most in need throughout the Caribbean and Latin America. In March 2010, Dr. Pilar Martin, having spent an extensive amount of time volunteering her services in Haiti over the previous 4 years, decided it was time to create a formal entity that would offer sustainability and legitimacy toward the pursuit of her goals. This led to the founding of IHC.

Enhance and promote global public health through providing services, providing learning opportunities and developing research. Our main goal is to reach the poorest of the poor through the creation of Global learning Communities

Improve the health and social conditions of the underserved communities in the world.

IHC is based on the principles of respect to cultural diversity, honesty, integrity, solidarity and compassion within the framework of social justice and human rights
